PICK ME!!!! PICK ME!!!!!
I hope to run this for the first annual New Mexicon, Albuquerque’s first indie game convention! There are 5 game slots and I would run it at least twice! (Forgot to add this all in my comments on my application!). You can check out the website: http://www.newmexicon.com. We are VERY excited!
I WANT!!!
I would be very interested.
Oh hell yes!
I want to apply just so I can read and drool and hack, but I don’t have a group and it wouldn’t feel right to take a spot from someone who does. T_T
Hells bells. So this is what Billy and Georgia have been upto… Must have a word with that furball. In a good way of course.
Me please! I playtested the original Dresden and I love it so very much.
Please pick me! The first Fate campaign I ever ran was a Dresden campaign and I have a game group anxiously wanting to play this!
Pick me. Mab still owes me a favor for Rio in ’67
Dear sweet god do I wanna be in this playtest! *waves hands in the air* Pick Me!
The “Click here” link is not working for me.
I’ve been trying to convert the old Dresden to Accelerated, but man that’s a huge task! Sort of gave up last night, so this is awesome 🙂
My gaming group and I are very interested.
I would take a full week off work just to start this. But as others have said, I don’t have a group so I don’t want to take away from those who are more ready than I. Still it would be so awesome to be picked!!
in this version can i come with “Mighty Thews” i really missed them last time.
I can so do this.
Have they sent out the play test invites? I hope i get in. I’m go my group scheduled for FAE rover the next few weeks on would love to do Dresden.
PICK ME PLEASE.
Update: The Dresden Files Accelerated system playtest application is now closed. We’re reviewing the applications now (over 1,100 of them!) and will be getting back to folks by the end of August.
Thanks everyone for your support and interest in Dresden Files Accelerated!
Dang! I am so sorry I and my buddies missed the chance to playtest.
I feel like I’m seven again, sitting at the window and hoping that today is the day the mailman is going to deliver my secret decoder ring. Well, at least I won’t have to wait 6-8 weeks.
Wow, that is a lot of applications!
Alas, just got my rejection letter. The “Despicable Me” minions said it best: “Aw, poop.”
Thanks so much for your support and understanding Joe.
Not a problem, good sir — you guys have earned it. Obviously, with over a thousand playtest groups wanting in, you had to draw the line somewhere. I have no doubt that the game will be spectacular, and I look forward to playing it when it comes out.
@Joe – Got a rejection as well 🙂 I think I’ll make one more attempt to port Dresden to FAE, because my group is ready to play and the original Dresden RPG is too ‘heavy’. Having read FAE there is no way I’m going back 😉
Anyway, I’m really looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.
@Henrik – Out of curiosity did you ever port Dresden to FAE – I’m kicking off a game myself and am concerned that DFRPG may be a little too crunchy for us, and also not getting into the playtest, have been thinking of some home-brew FAE.
@Daniel – Unfortunately not. Gave it a second try, but gave up. The trick is to incorporate all the rules/flavours of Dresden, but without a heavy layer of rules and game mechanics. Darned difficult to do. I’m really curious to see how well they’ll pull it off.
Any news on when Dresden Accelerated is due to come out? It sounds like it is going to be amazing!
Possibly next year? Project status is reported on our all-projects status page found in the menu up top.
Thanks for the quick reply.
That sounds great!
I would love to be part of the play test for this game.
@Daniel
Cool. Apply on the link above. Thanks!
Hello, I have been gaming for more than 20 years, and I am an owner/fan of the Dresden Files RPG. I have an established group, that can play test anything you like. Please consider me to be one of your beta testers.
@Lawrence
Cool. Apply on the link above. Thanks!
I think I might cry since I don’t have a group to play with T_T oh the sad-making
I have been waiting for this for quite a while.
Very much looking forward to a simpler rules set to play Dresden. I know my group would love to play in that setting, but they cannot be bothered with too much crunch. Our last five or six campaigns were FAE ports of other systems and that always worked out spectacularly well!
I want to playtest it with my friends! Afterwards I will write a review for the Teilzeithelden.de, a big german Roleplaying online magazine. I love FATE like no game yet and am playing a regular zombie survival accelerated game.
MY MONEY. TAKE IT.
Oh wait, this is a volunteer thing. /fills out application
experienced Gamer and Dresden files Fan who has jim Butcher aus a steam friend looking for play test material
@Sven
Cool. Apply on the link above. Thanks!
Pretty please? My group has 5-8 members depending on work and classes and we’d like a user-friendly method of attracting new players.
Sweet I’ve been waiting for this i hope i get in.
