Two Evil Hat referencing links -- in Spanish -- crossed my blog filter recently:

Seemingly referencing a podcast: http://demoniosonriente.com/blog/?p=76
And a review of Spirit of the Century: http://lamarcadeleste.blogspot.com/2008/05/spirit-of-century.html

A new Spirit of the Century review has been posted over on RPG.net:

Spirit of the Season has been reviewed by Matthew Pook of Pyramid. If you have a Pyramid subscription, you can read the full article here:

"I like Spirit of the Season. It is fun, it is full of good cheer, and it does full justice to both Christmas and Chanukah without being cheap or tacky in its treatment of the various elements that make up both holidays, and with so many days until Christmas, I just found my first Christmas present."

I'm pretty sure you do.

It's a good thing you've got your actual play reviews all ready to go and get submitted for RPG.net's Actual Play Review Week, isn't it? :)

Extra cool thoughts will be generated and focused upon your person by yours truly if you happen to do some actual play reviews of Evil Hat's products, naturally!

Quoth the formidable [info]cwricheson:
Cross posted at RPGnet:

The week of March 24th is Actual Play Review Week here at RPGnet. While past weeks have focused on overall themes, this event will focus on reviews based on actual game sessions. Share with us your best and worst experiences with all sorts of games! All it takes is a little time to write it up and including [Actual Play Week] in front of the title when you send it in.

This event will have a prize pool, but it's a different system from our past events. We're restricting the event to just ten winners who may choose as they wish from any donated prizes. Don't let that intimidate you, though, as newcomers and old hands alike have walked away with some wonderful prizes from our past events. For this event we're also restricting the prize pool to RPG reviews, though we would love to see reviews of any non-RPG products you care to submit that week as well.

If you're a publisher and would like to sponsor this event then please PM me here or contact me at cwricheson AT gmail DOT com and I'll add you to our beloved group of supporters.

Never written a review before? Check out my guide to RPG reviewing for some tips!

And whether you participate or not please join us during the week of March 24th for some fantastic reviews!

"This was some of the clearest RPG writing I have personally read in a while, and if this is the quality found in Spirit of the Century, then I’m sold."

"There is an intense focus on characters and personal struggles in a world gone mad that I find very appealing. With an exciting atmosphere and tight system I would heartily recommend this game to those even the slightest bit interested."

And don't forget, Don't Rest Your Head remains on sale at Your Games Now for $6.66 throughout the rest of October:

As I mentioned earlier today, the first two Don't Rest Your Head reviews for Horror Week have hit the wires over on RPG.net.

What I didn't mention is that there are another three in the queue.

This appears to have caught master reviewer and Horror Week coordinator Chris Richeson's attention. Take a look.

The first couple of Horror Review Week reviews of Don't Rest Your Head are up!

I think they present a fair picture of the game, calling out warts that should be called out, etc.

In related news, starting with Horror Review Week, I'm running a sale on the Don't Rest Your Head PDF over on Your Games Now, dropping it from its usual $7.95 price to the "devilish" discounted price of $6.66 ... The sale runs through Halloween. Grab it if you dare. :)
